“Entry-level Air Canada flight attendants’ wages have increased only 10% – just $3 per hour – in the past 25 years,” the The Air Canada Component of the Canadian Union of Public Employees noted in a statement. They’re seeking higher wages, an end to unpaid work, and more.
And Canada Post workers just voted to reject the agency’s latest contract offer, raising the likelihood of a strike. The 55,000-member Canadian Union of Postal Workers has been bargaining with Canada Post for nearly two years.
